Quality of life improvements abound! Prototype update v0.0.9 is live.
This week, the focus was on a number of bug fixes and playability improvements based on feedback from players. Some highlights:
- Loot in deck builder mode will now never include two of the same card
- The opponent's deck will now persist between scene changes / sessions. No more editing your deck to counter your opponent, only to have their deck change out from under you!
- Spells now have a visual indicator for the area of effect, so you can more easily tell what will and won't be hit by the spell.
- Friendlies and enemies now have different colored health bars, to make it easier to tell friend from foe when combat gets dense.
- The casting reticle now includes a red X that appears if you don't yet have enough mana to cast the unit or spell you've selected.
- Buildings with limited lifetimes now have a more obvious timer UI element.
- Revamped card borders to make it easier to tell common and rare cards apart (and in the future, legendary cards!)
We hope these changes make Jung a bit easier to understand and enjoy!
